The Kramer

The eldest watch in the collection – this watch originated from my great-grandparents on my father’s maternal side. Vintage watch experts, more knowledgeable than I, have argued that the man of the house most likely purchased this timepiece; yet, my father seems to recall his grandmother wearing the watch, and given its dimensions, this is entirely feasible.
I had the watch professionally restored by a leading expert in the field of vintage restoration. This included a service of the movement (that was functioning surprisingly well), cleaning the dial, manufacturing a new (glass) crystal, and replacing two missing hands (can you guess which is the original?).
