Wifie’s Watch
Definitely one of the more expensive timepieces in the collection, my wife’s parents gifted it to her around early 2010, in commemoration of her completing military service, her 21st birthday, or some other milestone. Frankly, I’m unsure what to say about this watch, nor what my opinion of it is. I’m not crazy about Panerai, though something is fetching about a woman wearing a watch like this. This specific model is a limited edition of 300 pieces. A chronograph based on Zenith’s El Primero with an added flyback function. It originally comes on a bracelet that’s a combination of steel and titanium, matching the case. 40mm overall.
I mean, it’s just not my style. And even though it suits my wife, she doesn’t actually wear it, or watches in general, for that matter. So, with all that about it being a very special and collectible model, highly desirable among Paneristi, I just can’t help but think about the other watches I could have bought instead. Oh well.
